Adam Fisher Leads an U18 Training Session

“"The boys' attitude was spot on and the quality was excellent” Adam Fisher

We want to say a huge thank you to Adam Fisher manager of Welwyn Garden City FC for spending the time this week running our U18 Team training session, which has a combination of 17 and 18 year-old players.

The lads really enjoyed it and it's given them all a taste of what could be, with them all leaving the session with a new sense of enthusiasm.

It is truly fantastic that our teams can grow and aspire to become part of their very own hometown football club, and we are very privileged to be affiliated with the senior team.

Adam said,

"It was great to get down and spend some time with the U17/18 this week. I spoke to them all about how this is an important time for them all as they start making the transition into men's football. And from my point of view while I'm manager there is always an opportunity for them within our development side or even 1st team if they are committed.

I have used 4-5 lads over the past 2/3 seasons who played at U16.17 and 18 and done brilliant. This week I did quite a tough session with them physically and technically and I was really pleasantly surprised how well they all did. They took everything on board, their attitude was spot on and the quality was excellent"
